About the app:

Securmark makes your assets worthless to thieves. Our app gives you an overview of your Securmark-marked objects, including boats, outboard engines, bikes, skis and other objects with Securmark anti-theft marking.

You can also search for Securmark-marked objects. You can perform searches by scanning the bar code on the security mark, searching for the Securmark number (starting with an N and ending with an S), or searching for the objects serial, hull or frame number. This function is useful when buying second-hand objects. Use the app to search for the object you are considering buying to check whether it is registered in our database with comments (e.g. stolen).

You can also use the app to update your customer information to ensure that the information is up to date at all times. This is important in order to ensure that the police, customs authorities, insurance companies and the border control authorities receive correct owner information in the event of theft. It also increases the chance of stolen property being recovered.

If you are unfortunate enough to have your Securmark-marked object stolen, you can report the theft via the app. Our international database will then be updated automatically.
